Works on integrated stormwater and blue-green infrastructure in dense urban catchments.

Dr Rajesh Kumar is a Co-Investigator working on integrated stormwater and blue-green infrastructure in dense urban catchments. His research treats the city as a watershed, looking for ways to slow, store, and clean water using parks, wetlands, and permeable surfaces rather than pipes alone.

He collaborates with water agencies to show how blue-green systems can ease the load on conventional drainage while adding shade, habitat, and public space. The result is infrastructure that does several jobs at once.
