Bio

Visiting fellow in regional environmental policy across Southeast Asia.

Dr David Okoro is a Visiting Fellow whose research sits at the meeting point of environmental science and public policy across Southeast Asia. He studies how evidence on natural infrastructure travels into national adaptation strategies, and why some findings change practice while others stall.

Drawing on comparative work across the region, he examines the institutions, incentives, and partnerships that let cities invest in green infrastructure at scale. His perspective helps the lab frame its science for the people who write and fund policy.

During his fellowship he is keen to connect with policy researchers and practitioners, and can be reached at d.okoro@ntu.edu.sg.
